Giota joined Abbott two years ago and is part of the Medical Devices division. She joined after 6 years in the pharmaceutical industry where she was the Market Access expert for the Belgian trade association.
Giota holds a Master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Antwerp in Belgium, as well as a Post Graduate in Health Economics.
In her current role as Health Economics and Reimbursement Manager OUS, she supports EMEA and APAC reimbursement activities across all business units. She brings a unique set of skills to Abbott as she has a profound expertise on reimbursement and pricing negotiations with payers on market entry agreements and policy shaping.
